SmartShake

Let's go back to 2008. On a bright Swedish morning, future Smartshake founder Mikael Bergström took a shaker, filled it with milk and protein powder, and walked to his car.

An already busy man, he was used to being in a hurry, and on some days there was simply not enough time for anything other than a liquid breakfast. When he started shaking the cup while driving, the lid flew off and he was covered in protein slurry. Not the best way to start your day, but this story has a different ending.

Lucky for us, Mikael didn't just clean up and get on with his day. He began to think. If it happened to him, it must have happened to many others. He introduced a new type of sealed shakers made from high quality materials. Then he added revolutionary features like attachable storage compartments to put an end to the messy business of mixing drinks from a bunch of different little plastic bags. That's when Smartshake was born. So, an old shaker with a crappy lid. Thank you for the inspiration!
